Beside the Brook
Rev. Dr. Virginia Franklin Davis
Sometimes I feel like a dry, parched desert with a need for water. But whenever I use my three God-given gifts of praying, reading God’s words, and writing poetry, that thirst begins to quench just as a cool drink of water from a brook would quench a thirsty deer, on a hot summer day. I ask that you come with me and enjoy God speaking from my heart through poetry.
